Mr. Rogers is a Managing Director of the Investment Management division of Ascendiant Securities LLC, where he is responsible for several key lines of business focused on institutional investors, family offices, and fund managers.
Mr. Rogers has over fifteen years of experience in the investment management and securities industry. During his career, he has placed investment capital for traditional and alternative investment asset classes, and syndicated private investment opportunities among family offices and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) investors. Mr. Rogers has significant experience managing real estate, private equity, and venture capital investments for clients. He has served as the Chief Investment Officer of a family office, and held investment management positions with Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo Securities, and Bear Stearns & Co.
Prior to Ascendiant, Mr. Rogers founded Alpha Strategies Investment Consulting, a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), which continues to provide alternative investment consulting for family offices and institutional investors.
Mr. Rogers earned a Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, and graduated from the USMC Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia. Mr. Rogers has completed professional courses in advanced estate planning, asset allocation, retirement planning, 401(k), and qualified retirement plans. He is a member of the CFA Institute, and maintains FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations.
