Mark A. Bergendahl

Mr. Bergendahl is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Ascendiant Capital Markets LLC, a full-service investment bank and securities trading firm, and Ascendiant Capital Partners LLC, an institutional investor in publicly-traded, emerging growth companies.

Mr. Bergendahl is also a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Ascendiant Securities LLC, a broker-dealer focused on private placement and advisory services, and of two special purpose investment entities - Ascendiant Opportunity Fund I - LLC and Ascendiant P.E.T. Partners LLC.

Since establishing Ascendiant in 2001, Mr. Bergendahl has provided capital and strategic guidance to hundreds of small-cap and micro-cap companies in the U.S. and selected foreign markets, and he has developed relationships with a large number of institutional and accredited investors.

Mr. Bergendahl has over twenty-five years of experience as a private investor, and in the development of early stage and high growth companies. He has managed a broad array of businesses from inception to growth and exit.

Prior to founding Ascendiant, Mr. Bergendahl, among other business endeavors, served as Founding Director and private investor in Odyssey Sports, Inc., a golf equipment company which developed the Odyssey putter that attained #1 market share in the world, and was later sold for $130 million cash to Callaway Golf (NYSE: ELY). He began his professional career in the corporate finance department of Oppenheimer & Company.

Mr. Bergendahl is a graduate of the Entrepreneurship Program at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. He maintains FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 79, and 99 securities registrations.
